Welcome to Artificial Intelligence

This program runs 10 real, working weeks plus a final project week — 11 weeks total, taking you from having no technical background in AI to genuinely understanding how it works and applying it well, across any field you actually work in.

Twice a week you'll have a live session with your tutor. These sessions are hands-on: your tutor already knows what you've read and practiced that week, and will push you to actually apply a concept, not just recite its definition back.

How the 11 weeks are structured

Weeks 1–3: Real foundations — what AI actually is, how machine learning genuinely works, and what's actually happening inside a neural network.
Week 4: Large language models specifically — how a tool like the one teaching you this lesson actually functions.
Weeks 5–6: Prompt engineering — genuinely getting reliable, useful results from AI, not just guessing.
Weeks 7–8: Real applications across fields, and the actual tools available beyond chat.
Week 9: Limitations, bias, and ethics — the real responsibility that comes with using AI well.
Week 10: Building your own real, working AI-powered tool.
Week 11: A final project — your own, complete, applied AI work.

Who this program is genuinely for

You do not need any programming background to start this program — the first nine weeks are built to be genuinely understandable with zero coding experience. Week 10's tool-building does introduce real, basic code, but scaffolded carefully, assuming true beginner status.

Why understanding AI actually matters right now

You are almost certainly already using AI tools regularly — that's not the problem this program addresses. The real gap this program closes is between using AI and genuinely understanding it: knowing why a model sometimes confidently states something false, why the exact wording of a request changes its output so much, and where AI is a genuine, reliable tool versus a plausible-sounding guess.

A real, honest note on how fast this field changes

Specific AI tools and products genuinely change fast — a tool mentioned today may be superseded within months. This program is deliberately built around the real, more durable concepts underneath (how models actually work, how to think about prompting, how to evaluate a tool critically) rather than memorizing any one product's current interface, precisely so what you learn stays genuinely useful even as the specific tools shift.

Before your first live session, write down, honestly, one real task you currently do (at work, in school, in daily life) where you're not sure if AI could genuinely help — you'll revisit this exact task multiple times across the program as your actual understanding deepens.
